This folder contains a bunch of files.

Windows keeps a bunch of copies of files in the %windir%\installer folder.
DO NOT manually delete them.
I won't get into the specifics about how the windows installer mechanism works (mostly because i don't know, nor do i understand to).
also do NOT DELTE FILES FROM "C:\windows\WinSxS"
... "'but windows already has those files'"
Windows keeps files that it needs in folders and it knows how to reference.
If I were to say "hey, randomly delete files in your windows folder" ...
how would you react?
